Working on a new wall

This is a graffiti for my daughters room I made after I've seen the promotional video for Alisa Burkes online class freemotion graffiti. Just wanted to try that and it was real fun.
After I signed up for the class obviously, and it was just more fun!

Valencia

Actually I'm in Valencia, Spain, city with beautiful architecture, a lots of contrasts: in the outside districts a lot of ropey buildings.

Once I did a lot of knitting but nobody wants to wear anymore my pullovers so I stopped! but now there are whole you can felt in the washing machine... and that is quite interesting. So this weekend, messy weather outside I started this project:

finished you put it for a cycle in the washing machine at 40°C with some soap, it shrinks about 30%. And thats the result:

Just have to sew a linning and a zip and I have a perfect felted bag.. had because my two girls both want this one, so I'll have to knit anothers.

Barcelona

But Barcelona is also modern architecture: Torre Diagonal Zero: here are located the headquarters of telephony and it was nominated best commercial building of the year 2001 and best structural design award 2011      http://www.e-architect.co.uk/barcelona/torre_diagonal_zero_zero.htm

the tower is a triangle but in all three directions if you stay in the right position it seems to be a flat wall! really chilling. and by night its even better.

Barcelona

Last weekend I was in Barcelona for work, but not only! I'm known to not like too much cities but more mountains and  countryside, but if there is a city i love its Barcelona! Architecture is simply fantastic, there are lots of museums, the sea, god food and wine and and and. This time I finally got in the santa Maria del Mar cathedral that for several times I found closed. Santa Maria del Mar, 14th century, is considered the finest and most complete Catalan Gothic cathedral. And she's fantastic!
